澳大利亚开启国际生返澳留学计划

　　We’re very excited to share with you the news that we have now received official approval from the Prime Minister to go ahead with a program to return a small number of our international students to Adelaide.

　　The approval allows us to bring 300 continuing students (shared between The University of South Australia, The University of Adelaide, and Flinders University) back to Adelaide from select locations over the coming months in order to recommence their studies on campus on arrival and in 2021.

　　Locations from which students are invited to express interest in participating in the program are: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China (PRC), Hong Kong (SAR), South Korea and Japan. Points of departure are limited to those locations listed above, where there are viable connections to the final flight to Adelaide. Connections from all locations listed are, at this time, specifically approved for transit via Changi Airport via the Singapore Airlines network.

　　We are continuing to work on plans to return more of our students from more locations to South Australia when we can. We are very hopeful that if this program is successful it will open the door for further programs, and our discussions with the South Australian and Commonwealth Governments are ongoing.

　　On Tuesday (20 October 2020) evening, we contacted our continuing students who are offshore in the above locations to invite them to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form. We are not yet at the stage of offering places on the program. The EOI closed at 11.59pm on Thursday 22 October, and we are now starting the difficult process of selecting students for the program. We will be prioritising students based on how close they are to completion of their programs and the need to undertake face-to-face components, e.g. placements, workshops etc, in order to complete.

A few key points about the program:关于这个项目的几个关键点:

　　The University, in collaboration with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), will organise the travel exemption in order to enter Australia.大学将与内政部(DHA)合作，为进入澳大利亚组织豁免。

　　The University will arrange flights from a designated airport in the students’ current location to Adelaide. All flights will be with Singapore Airlines and will be via Changi airport.学校将安排学生目前所在地的指定机场到阿德莱德的航班。所有航班将与新加坡航空公司，并将通过樟宜机场。

　　Students will be required to quarantine in a designated hotel for 14 days when they arrive in Adelaide. The University, in collaboration with SA Health, will arrange the quarantine hotel arrangements in the Adelaide CBD (including secure transit from Adelaide airport). This will include Wi-Fi and all meals. To be eligible to participate, students must:学生需：

　　be currently in one of the locations listed above,目前在上述地点之一
